Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS): Over the internet, IaaS offers virtualized computing resources. Users can rent networking, storage, and virtual machines (VMs). Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) are a few examples of IaaS providers.
Platform as a Service (PaaS): PaaS gives developers a platform and setting to create, launch, and maintain applications without having to worry about the underlying infrastructure. Heroku, Google App Engine, and Microsoft Azure App Service are a few well-known PaaS vendors.
Software as a Service (SaaS) is a subscription-based online delivery method for software applications. These apps are accessed by users via web browsers, and the service provider hosts and maintains the program. Dropbox, Salesforce, and Microsoft 365 are a few examples of SaaS products.
Function as a Service (FaaS): Also referred to as server less computing, FaaS enables programmers to execute certain operations or snippets of code in response to events without having to worry about maintaining servers or other infrastructure. Popular FaaS systems include Azure Functions and AWS Lambda.
Database as a Service (DBaaS): DBaaS provides managed database services that let users deploy, scale, and maintain databases without having to do the administrative tasks themselves. Examples include Google Cloud SQL, Azure SQL Database, and Amazon RDS.
